Racines/Ratschings-Giovo/Jaufen skiing area

The Racines/Ratschings-Giovo/Jaufen adventure skiing area is situated just 20 minutes away from Hotel Stroblhof and knows how to entertain both old and young skiers. We take you to the modern lifts, which take you up to more than 2,000 metres, every day with the hotel’s own shuttle bus. As soon as you arrive in the Racines/Ratschings-Giovo/Jaufen skiing area, our local skiing area, a whole new world of possibilities opens up to you: skiing, carving, snowboarding, blading... there are no limits to the fun and in fact the relaxation too! The Racines/Ratschings-Giovo/Jaufen skiing area is one of the most reliable areas for snow in the whole of South Tyrol (season from start of December to mid-April).

Skiing in the Plan/Pfelders ski area in South Tyrol

The Plan/Pfelders ski area is situated just under 15 kilometres from Hotel Stroblhof – both the young and old are chauffeured to the ski area’s bottom station every day by our free shuttle bus. The Plan/Pfelders ski area in the municipality of Plans/Pfelders in South Tyrol stands out due to its extremely sustainable approach to the environment and the picturesque idyllic scenery in the mountain village and ski area that goes hand in hand with this. Plan/Pfelders offers perfect slopes for beginners but also has more challenging downhill runs. The sunny ski area scores with an absolute snow guarantee! Children up to the age of 8 ski for free if accompanied by their parents.

Merano/Meran 2000

The modern lifts at the Merano/Meran 2000 family ski area are roughly 20 kilometres away from Hotel Stroblhof. Just like everything in Merano/Meran, Merano/Meran 2000 also exudes the typical Alpine and Mediterranean flair. How do they do it, you may ask? Quite simply: Surrounded by the snow-covered Alps, the view opens up onto the wide valley basin of Merano/Meran, where vineyards are hibernating and just behind them tower King Ortler to the west and the Dolomites to the east. A magical view and incredible slopes on Merano/Meran’s sunny terrace. Children up to the age of 8 have free use of all the lifts.
